Cat Care Tips Here are some cat care tips about grooming, feeding, taking to the vet, etc.
This is some expert advice from me to you about cat care:) If I'm wrong on anything could you PLEASE correct me. Thanx!:) First, of all grooming: When grooming your cat make sure you have a nice brush. The brush type depends on your cat type. Either you have a long hair, semi long or short hair cat. Shorthair cats still need grooming as well. Also, be sure to bathe your cat. Second, of all feeding: Cats need special diets in order for them to grow up healthy and strong. Some cats are obese and need a diet that is low in calories to burn fat. Third of all exercise: Cats need exercise. Either buy them some cat toys and a gym for lots of exercise and be sure to play with them as well. A scratching post is recommended for kitty's claws either for territory or sharpening purposes. Get a bed for your cat to sleep on. Plus, you'll need a litter box and change the litter everytime your cat goes. Put a collar on your cat with the cat's name, address, phone #, etc. To make sure if the cat is lost, so the person who found the cat will bring it back safe and sound. Make sure your cat is spayed or neutered, because we don't need anymore unwanted cats in this world. Take your cat to a vet for proper vaccinations and health checks. If you want to breed cats you will need a cattery and all of the above. Plus, you'll need to find out information about the buyer of the cat. If you want to show your cat off in a cat show, you'll need all of the above. Plus, a lot of grooming, traveling expenses as well. You have to think if you want to have the cat travel to shows once a month or every weekend. This takes money to do this.
